Happy 4th of July!!!

   Hey everyone, so as you all know today is the fourth of July. I don't know what you guys do but in my town we have a parade and do a big firework show. I didn't go to the parade today because i had a sleep over with my friend Anna and we didn't feel like it. So I don't know how that went down. But i went to a party at our family friend's house and watched the fire works. Either it was because of the giant tree in our way or I just didn't like it  but I was very underwhelmed by the fireworks. It was suposivly the biggest show  in all of Colorado. I just didn't like it . So now I am sitting at home listening to the fireworks being done by the neighbors....

Costco

Hey guys, so its a warm summer day and I am bored to death. So I figured i would post about whats going on. Today is saturday and my parents, on a whim, decided to go to costco. If you don't know what Costco is, it is a giant store that sells everything in extra large packages. It is like Sam's Club if you know what that is. Well any way when I woke up today to my dad yelling "Libby, your breakfast is ready" from the bottom of the stairs. I lugged myself down stairs and ate my bacon and cheese biscuit from this shop in town. When i asked why they woke me up so early they said that they were going to Costco. When ever my parents go to Costco they take 4 hours. I don't care if they say it takes 2 hours it will always take 4.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding

   Hey everyone, I want to talk about the new reality T.V show on TLC called My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. This show is about Irish travelers and Romany Gypsies and the traditions they have. Including weddings. Gypsy weddings consist of giant dresses and major partying. This show also tells you about the culture of Gypsies. Some rules are: girls are not aloud to have sex until married, girls are not aloud to go outside with out their husbands, and girls typically get married around 16. I wouldn't want to be a gypsy but if I met one i would still be respectful of their culture. .

Monte Carlo

Okay guys. As I said in my previous post, today I went to see the new movie, Monte Carlo. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would say it was a 81/2. If you are a guy i don"t think this movie is going to be your forte. It is more of a chick flick than action movie. But if you are a teenage girl like me you'll love it. The main character is Grace played by Selena Gomez. She has saved her whole life to go to Paris and now she finally can. But when she gets there she gets confused for an heiress from England and goes to Monte Carlo. The rest I will not tell you because you need to see it for your self. But I highly suggest that you see this movie.

My Day: July 1st

   Okay guys this is my day today which is July 1st. When I woke up today I was really tired and didnt really want to do any thing. But I had told my friend, Anna, that I would hang out with her. We decided that we were going to play volleyball at these sand courts in my town. Anna and I played for a little bit when we decided we wanted to go on the alpine slide (also in my town). Apparently Anna's mom had a bunch of tokens that let us play, but I needed my mom to sign a form that said I was aloud to go. So I had to call my mom and ask her to come to the slide and sign the form. When she did that we were ready to go. 
   When we rode the slide two times we decided to go to this little shop in my town called Ciao Gelato. We ate pizza and gelato when we decided to walk to the library. I was about to call my mom and tell her to pick me up at the library.When I got a text from my other friend Taylor asking if I wanted to go to see Monte Carlo with me. So I went with Taylor and saw the movie. I will do a review in another post. After that I just went home and this is where I am now. So that was my day today.

Love In The Wild

To all of you that don't know, love in the wild is a new show on NBC. The title sounds like it is one of those shows that is so cheesy you cant take it. Well, last night when it premiered i decided to watch it with my family. Surprisingly it is one of the best shows i have ever seen. The contestants (who are all single) are paired up with each other and are set to do different challenges. It started off when all of the contestants had to build a raft. Quickly you could see which contestants weren't meant to be paired and which were. Next they had to maneuver their raft through shark infested waters. That was when most couples talked about themselves. Some really clicked but others just fought. As the contestants approached land they had a choice of going to the water, earth, or air. Eventually they had to do all three. On the water challenge they had to fill a bottle with some special water from a spring. Next on the earth challenge they had to climb up a tree to get an idle. Finally was the air challenge, the couples had to climb up a large structure and video tape a kiss that they shared. The winning team got to stay in a super nice room while the others had to stay in the cabins. While in the cabins some of the boys and girls started to socialize with other people. Next was the elimination ceremony. Each couple had the choice of switching and it was about half and half. When it came down to it Dawn and her partner went home. I highly recommend watching this show it was really cool.

  

Rainy Days

   Today has been one of the saddest, rainiest days i have ever witnessed. So all i have been doing today is making blog posts. So just to confirm i do have a social life. I think i am going to hang out with my friend , Anna, tomorrow. Either her or my friends , Jenna and Shorty. I will blog about it tomorrow if any thing happens.

   The best part about rainy days is the option to sit at home and watch cartoons all day. If anybody calls you lazy you can just say, "Well it was raining outside. What am i supposed to do" That's why i love rainy days but i don't think they are all that great because it is sad and depressing. Well i hope it  is sunny tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted.

Selena Gomez

   Okay guys, I typically only blog about my life and things that happen in it but lately i have been obsessed with Selena Gomez. I saw her special on E! and i fell in love. Just kidding, anyway i love her song love you like a love song. It's stuck in my head and i don't care. Any way did you guys know that her mom was a teen mom. Usually people think that when your mom was a teen mom that you cant go far. But that wasn't the case with Selena. She is a real example that any one can grow to stardom.

  

Homemade Ice Cream

   Before I start I would just like to say that this is not a recipe. I cant cook to save my life. I geuss that is going to have to change eventually but for right now i can survive on ramen and fried chicken. 
   As i mentioned before on the post about boys, i recently went to my grand parents house. My grandma is a wonderful cook especially with unhealthy foods. So i asked her if she could make homemade ice cream. The process was cool. First, she made the mix, Second she put it into the ice cream maker. Oh wait that was it. Well any way after it churned in the tacky pink ice cream maker i got to engulf my self in the deliciousness of the ice cream. The texture was more like a milk shake than ice cream. It was still delicious. My grandfather gave me the amount of ice cream that only a cow could love. If that makes any since. Still what i mean is that he gave me WAY too much. Although the excessive amount i still loved it. 

 

The Missing Garbage Cans

   As strange as the title seems, this is not a strange story.Well, maybe a little. It all started like this... As I was blogging today i heard a car door shut. I looked outside to see if my mom was home. I didnt see my moms tan dodge durango, instead i saw a woman with a waste management vest on taking trash cans and putting them in the back of her truck. And they werent being emptied or any thing. I'm talking whole trash cans. So when i noticed that my trash can wasnt there any more i ran to my garage to check if it was in there. Thankfuly it was. Now that i think back on it i was a little more worried than i should've been.
 

Boys

   Okay so there are these two boys that are neighbors with my grandparents. There is an older one and a younger one. My grand parents are kind of delusional and dont know the boys' names or ages. But there is a possibility that the older boy is my age. Sadly, while i was there i didnt get to meet the older boy i only got to meet the younger one. He was cute in the face but was way too young.
   My grandmother decided to bake a cake for their dad who was injured from a 4 wheeler accident. Well when i entered their home it was, not surprisingly, a bit red neck. It was really messy all the way to the living room. There was a giant flat screen t.v. and a bunch of hunting decorations on the wall. Including a whole collection of antlers and a stuffed turkey. Even after all of that i still want to meet the older boy. According to his brother he lifts weights every morning for football. No amount of antlers and stuffed turkeys can change that.
   As i was leaving their house, their mom started talking. She asked me when i was leaving and when i told her that i was leaving the next day she said that next time i should bring a suit and go swimming in their pool with them. I was like "uh". What she didn't know is that my grandma told me that while she was on the deck she saw the boys out side. As the older one was getting out the younger one shot up and pantzed him. As they were getting out the older one hit the younger one in the back with a lawn chair. I don't want to be in the middle of that.
